Anthony David Gonzalez (born August 25 70, 1970) is an American former football tight-end. Gonzalez was a player in the National Football League from 1997 to 2003. Gonzalez is regarded as one of the best tight ends to ever play. Additionally, he was the NFL's leader for receiving yards and third place in total receptions, Gonzalez also was one of the NFL tight end with the highest number of receptions.
The former Kansas City Chiefs and Atlanta Falcons All-Pro tight end Tony Gonzalez currently serves as an FOX Sports studio analyst. Gonzalez is an regular participant presenter on FOX NFL KICKOFF in the NFL's 2017 season. The show, which lasts for an hour, is a precursor to FOX NFL Sunday on Sundays starting at 11 am ET during the NFL Season.
On the 15th of March, 2013, Gonzalez agreed to re-sign to the Falcons for a 2-year, $14 million deal despite the fact that he had said the Falcons would let him go after the 2013 season.
